War-Torn Ministry is a place for healing. It's a place where veterans and spouses who are struggling in their lives and marriages can find healing through Christ. As the wife of a veteran who is struggling with PTSD after serving 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, I have watched him suffer from the wounds that war can cause, but more so, I have been blessed to see the power of Christ in his life as he turned His eyes towards Jesus - the only healing there is for the wounds that war has caused. I have also found healing here for my own soul because Christ is restoring our intimacy and ultimately our marriage!
This is an excellent organization that is forming around a God-centered approach to aiding our brothers and sisters in arms in recovery from the damage done by the experience of war. We do not all come out traumatized, but we do all come out with experiences that change us. Coming together to lead warriors back to Christ when their experiences have driven them away is an important step in finding the healing that matters. War-Torn Ministry does wonderful work in achieving this objective. Bringing our troops home is one thing, the next is bringing them back to their true home in the kingdom.
War-Torn Ministry has been a tremendous blessing of encouragement and real-time expression of the Love of Christ to the brokenness of families. Truly, I appreciate the foundation of this God-centered ministry, bringing the rawness of truth to a community of believers. May the Lord continue to bring those believers to experience His hands extended to their war-torn soul.
You are not alone, War-Torn Ministry is of support, love & comfort for all who have been affected by war and for the families who need understanding in order to help, but most importantly to lead them back to faith in God. My husband was mad at God for 30 months after his injury. He blamed God for what happened to him in war, but persistence and prayer helped lead him to the right people to get him back in a relationship with God. God comes first in our lives. My husband is healing and recovering every day, thanks to God's grace & love.
War-Torn Ministry is such a blessing to soldiers and their families who are struggling to get through life after all the strains and struggles military life puts on a family. It's nice to see a ministry that helps to give new life to those who have seen so much death.
